Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, stuck, bored? The list goes on in times of trouble now more than ever.

There is a great importance of you, don’t forget. Our culture trains us to work all the time and constantly be on the go. Such a mindset is damaging to both our mental and physically health as well as to our relationships and so many areas of our lives.

Now that so many Americans are working from home and are working less, they likely have more time on their hands than they know what to do with. It can be easy to feel a lost sense of purpose since our culture has beat into us that our purpose is in work and being on the go all the time.

Let go of that lie. Let go of that thought. Just breathe. Be in the moment. Breathe deep. Feel your lungs fill and your shoulders relax.

And remember, what were the things you kept saying or thinking you wanted to do when you “had more time” or the things you know you love to do but never gave yourself the luxury of doing because you did not have the time?

Was it:

-hot long bath

-craft project

-cooking or baking

-dancing

-reading or learning

-playing games

And the things you kept putting off until you had the time. Was it:

-learning a new language

-finishing that book

-learning more about your industry

-writing a book

-building your dream backyard

-spending more time with your friends/family

Time is such a gift and many right now have that gift It’s okay to enjoy it. In fact, it’s important to enjoy it while its here!

Do the things you love that give you joy. This will give you so much more peace than all the stress and worry in the world. That will always be there from one thing or anther. Focus on you and the things you kept wanting to enjoy. This will help give you peace.
